Terms of Reference
The Terms of Reference is essentially a work plan that identifies what specific work items or tasks must be completed to develop an Assessment Report and a Source Protection Plan for each Source Protection Area. The Terms of Reference also describes municipal drinking water systems within the Source Protection Areas. It stipulates what agencies will be responsible for the various tasks, the date by which each task will be completed, and the estimated cost of each task.
As part of the Drinking Water Source Protection Program, the Source Protection Committee for the Saugeen, Grey Sauble, Northern Bruce Peninsula Source Protection Region has prepared Terms of Reference documents under section 8 of the Clean Water Act, 2006, for the development of Assessment Reports and Source Protection Plans
A separate Terms of Reference has been created for each Source Protection Area in our Region:
- Saugeen Valley Source Protection Area
- Grey Sauble Source Protection Area
- Northern Bruce Peninsula Source Protection Area
Terms of Reference approved by Minister
The Terms of Reference documents were approved by the Minister of the Environment and notices were posted to the Environnental Registry website on August 17, 2009.
